Dec 2012: After four years of absence, John Reuser re-united with Duketown Dogs. The Dogs are glad that this old friend and great bass player joins forces. John played bass on our album 'Snakehat'. Welcome back John!

Nov 2012: Michael Katon cancelled his November tour because of family reasons.  For that, Duketown Dogs will not play November 2th supporting Michael. We respect his choice, because family goes first. We wish Michael and family the best.

February 2012: Duketown Dogs welcomes new Bass player Jeroen van Maanen. Duketown Dogs are proud to announce that Jeroen van Maanen, one of Holland's finest bassplayers, joins the 'company of Dogs'. Jeroen plays all kind of music styles but made history with the symphonic rock of NovAct. This band had a world wide American record deal with Atlantic.
Jeroen now returns to his roots, the Blues. Jeroen is playin (like Julian Sass and Tenny Tahamata) custom build guitars made by PATRICK KOOPMAN.

June 2011: The Duke and Peter van der Sluys will appear at the "Blues Halfway" show at ZAANRADIO. The show will be broadcast the 12th of july., 22:00H. Worldwide available on streaming radio, hit "luister live" button. The show will be repeated July 17th, 23:00H.

April 2011: Gouwse Blues Festival ( april 16th) will be broadcast live at RTW.FM. Start show 20:00H. DD on stage: 21:50H

February 2011: DD had German airplay at "Blues Zur Nacht" (Deutschlandfunk). Great critics.

Januari 2011: PJ Jochems and Mark van Riel left Double D. The Dogs had many auditions and found the right musicians in Bass player Arjan de Zwart and Guitarist Bas van de Booren.
DD are looking forward to play with this talented guys.

September 2010: The Dogs had an outstanding CD release show. With Double D appeared the following musicians; Jan Martin Monster on keyboards, Leif de Leeuw on guitar and Pjotr Jurchenko on sax. August 2010: The forthcoming album is finally called "Chasing Tail". Duketown Dogs and Art-Werx decided that Chasing Tail is the right name for the album according to recordings and view of the artwork artist. Thanks to our production company Greenheart,  the Dogs signed a contract with German BSC Music for a release on R'n'D Records. On the album songs such as; Booger Full Of Blues (written by PJ), Strike Me Down (written by PJ and The Duke) and Line Of Fire (also written by PJ and The Duke). The Dogs also recorded a song written by Lee Baker Jr. called; Don't Take Advantage Of Me.

June 2010: The album "Tail Chasing" is almost recorded. On the album our dedication to the memory of Jeff Healey; See The Light.
We still have to record a few leadguitar parts, backing vocals and additional keyboards played by Mr. Chris Alblas (ex Bert Heerink band).

May 2010: Today (may 2th) DD started the recording of the long expected album "Tail Chasing". Last week The Dogs had a photo shoot at Antwerp harbour under guidance of JC de Meester. Results will soon be seen on this site and the album.

March 2010: The Dogs will start recording their album on May 7th. About 80% is written by PJ Jochems and Ron "The Duke" Gershwin.

January 2010: The Dogs will record their forthcoming album in Belgium. The recording will take place in May, produced by Jack Nobelen and the Dogs. Probably the album will be named: Tail Chasing
